In conjunction with Mother's Day, I'm happily in Taiping! Yay~! But... I'm going back to KL again tomorrow lar! So sad... Ok lar, I can't be eating about 20 hours per day for too long you know, I will become a true fatty bom-bom! :S
So, in conjunction with Mother's Day, I gave my mom, my dad, my two sisters and my Ah Ma(dad's side) a treat. I think I should say it's also for Father's Day lar cos I'm not coming back for that next month. We had our dinner at Da Hua Restaurant located in Kampung Jambu, a restaurant I fell in love with since my last trip home for Cheng Beng. I still remember we ordered two plates of their La-La just because it was too good! Yum~!My cute Ah Ma who put her hand on my shoulder for the pic... So friend ler!
Oh no~ Mummy is falling asleep AGAIN!!!
The restaurant is always fully-booked, especially during special festivals, so we made a reservation earlier and ordered all the dishes beforehand. So here's the menu of the night..."Go Hok"--The Five Happiness.
Oooh~The Mixed Vege with Scallops!
The Fried Shark...
The Fried Sang Mee... With duck eggs!
Nai Yao Har... Definitely Ducum's favourite dish.
The major thing! The Kam Heong La-La!
To me, the La-La was still really good. They are all big and fresh, just like the last time I came. The Fried Shark was not too bad, but nothing beats my Ah Ma's(mum's side) one. I reckon the curry fish I had the last time was better. The scallops was pretty fresh too! Anywayz, I strongly recommend you guys to try the La-La there! Simply too delicious to ressist!
It all came to a total of RM155, I still think that is cheap for a meal with stuff like prawns, sharks and scallop! Eating in Taiping is just DAMN CHEAP!!!
Also in conjunction with the mummy day, I, or we (Ducum and I) would like to confess...
We always talk about the crazy stuff we did when we were kids, and most of them involve cheating our dear, cute and blur blur mum.
You see last time when we were sleeping in one room, we always have this 'night activity' in our room. Nah... We didn't watch porn or do any nasty thing lar, don't think too much. One of them was to 'korek' money out from our piggy banks. Mine was a shape of a big slice of watermelon while Ducum's was a big round honeydew. We would lie on our bed holding the piggy bank with the little slot facing down to us, then with our metal ruler, we would get coins out very easily. And then... Yay~! Extra pocket money for tomorrow! Can buy snacks or the cup noodles in school! My mum would sometimes knock on the door and we would quickly keep the piggy banks under our blanket before slowly got up and opened the door for her... The second thing was, eating Mee-in-my-Mug! You know Maggi has this tiny packets of noodles where all you need to do is put them into a mug, add hot water and you're done? My mum used to buy that a lot those days and we always sneaked out of the room late at night to make that as our supper. We leave no proof, since we always hide the wrappers underneath all the rubbish in the rubbish bin! The best part was when we were happily having our supper in the room, mum would come AGAIN!!! I know, she just love to check us out so much those days! Guess what? We would keep the mugs in one of our empty drawers! Then when she left the room, we of course continue eating! Hahahaha~!Ducum showing-off the noodles we use to have in our room...secretly! Shhhhh...
I don't know, but we told her about that when we were all grown up, she always say:"You think I don't know ar?"... But I really think she doesn't know at all... Judging by the 'blur-ness' she has.
Oh yes, my mum is always so blur it makes her so cute! Hahaha... Read Vivian's blog, my mum just went through one of her funniest moment of her life last week. For those who don't understand Chinese, she actually went to a Kopitiam with Vivian last week and went to the toilet there. After a while, she called Vivian on her mobile, asking her to push the toilet door for her because she couldn't open the door! So Vivian went, and she couldn't find anybody in the toilet (there is only a Ladies and a Gents toilet there). Then my mum called another few more times kinda losing patience asking why Vivian isn't there yet... And then suddenly Vivian saw my mum walking out from the Gents... Hahahahahah~ The thing was, my mum doesn't even know! She was still questioning Vivian for the delay when she came out!!! See, I told ya... She is so blur...So... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO MRS. TAN! :)
Hehehe... My cute mum...
Bonus...
My very handsome Xiao Ma of BBT is always so cute whenever he is with his black-framed glasses...And then, the fan got a pair of them too~!Nice or not???
