Oscar Fever Part 3

An education
The movie is based on a true story, an experience that a UK journalist had when she was young.
To make it short... Jenny, a 16 year-old Oxford wannabe fell in love with a guy called David, who is much older than her. She was always protected and was always a top and bright student at school but David brought her into a different world, a world that she always wanted to be in. She gave up everything to marry him. Of course in the end it turned out David is a con man......
I love the story, it's so real that I can see a lot of girls like that in real life! Though nothing like an action packed movie, it was good enough to make me stick to the screen to follow the entire movie (well, I guess part of it was because I was watching it without subtitles and I suck in understanding British accented English).
I love Carey Muligan! She is gorgeous and her acting is so good you wouldn't believe she is only 24. I love the music and the fashion too!
Nice one, even feel like watching it again!

Up in the Air
I would say, in recent years, anything with George Clooney is good. This one is no exception. What more is that, the director is the one who directed Juno! Hey this must be good!
The job of firing people which George Clooney played is a bit odd. But the whole movie brings out a very good message. I don't know if the movie really wanted to bring out these messages, but what me and the bf see in this movie are: 1) You can't leave alone without any relationships, whether it is with your family or your other half. 2) Being fired is really not the end of the world. When we finished the movie, we went oh, that's a nice and sweet movie!
I personally think George Clooney's acting in this movie is just okay. It doesn't make me understand why he was one of the favourites to win the Oscar earlier. Vera Farmiga is just simply gorgeous and natural and Anna Kendrick is cute and really eye-catching in this movie! I also love the music and songs in the movie, it's so like... Don't know how to say, you should pay attention to the music while watching the movie.
A nice movie with good cast and good messages.
