How's my new job?

"How's your new job?"

That's the question that I got a lot the past few days.
"It's a bit boring, but I don't know..."
That will be the answer I will be giving to people.
Seriously, it is a different kind of work all together compared to newspaper reporting or TV production, the two fields that I've been in. I'm still feeling very uncomfortable sitting in the office from 9-5.30 everyday. I honestly think this part of it is fucking boring. I took journalism as a student because I don't like to sit in the office, and ironically I ended with a job like that!
Well, but let's not make the judgment too early yet. Since the company is new, website is not completed yet, we have to start everything from ZERO, I'm hoping things will be different later.
Workload will be more than what I had when I was a journalist, but at least I'm always assigned to do something instead of searching for stories myself. Plus, later on, I expect us to be doing more stuffs that are not what we are doing now. And and... Most importantly, FINGER CROSS that those overseas work trips will really come true!

By the way, I noticed I haven't been uploading photos of myself in my blog, or rather, I've not been taking pictures of myself lately. So I asked Ducum to take some for me with her mobile.

New job, new life, again...

It's the final countdown...te ne ne ne, te ne ne ne ne ne....
Nop, this is not a new year countdown on RTM.
It's just the final countdown of my long long holiday that will be ending tomorrow!
Yea, I'm starting my new job tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it, praying that it will finally be the one that I will stick to for a while.
My target now is to work hard to earn more money because I've certainly failed in saving money from the previous job. So now it's time to save up! Yosh yosh!!!
I don't even mind taking up some freelancing jobs such as translating stuffs or emcee-ing.
I need to earn more money, seriously! I want to give my parents more money, I want to go to Taiwan, I want to do many many things...
But to all my friends out there, I will now start working with a normal working hours from 9am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday. So that means I will be available when you're available! :) So you know what to do lar, huh?
(Oh, no no, Saturday 1pm-3pm I will have my class)

他们真的很帅，不是'suai'!

昨晚很开心有机会以“传媒”的身份混入了郑元畅和唐禹哲的大马签名会。虽然我不是他们的粉丝，不过能够看到那么帅的帅哥谁会抗拒啊？
其实，我昨天还开始又不舒服了，吃了药，整个活动我都没有很high，就是一直在拍照。而且因为坐在前面，拍得很近、很好看，所以才特地来分享一下！两位'suai'哥隆重登场！
我比较陌生的唐禹哲，真的很帅，也很爱美！嘻嘻！剪短发后的元畅，我更喜欢！！！！！
疯狂粉丝们，no,no,我不是其中一个！元畅玩起游戏来真的很high！吹蜡烛也可以很帅的郑元畅！照片分享的最后一张，嘿嘿，是不是？都说了我是“传媒”的一份子才能拍到这张哦！
整个活动是蛮热闹的，粉丝超多的，连台湾来的也有！比较不喜欢的当然是活动在Summit办啊！我的妈呀，Summit耶，整个好像比金河还烂的地方！后来还知道元畅和禹哲都住在Summit Hotel,而且所有活动都在Summit搞，整个就像Ducum说的，很想写一封信给他们跟他们说马来西亚真的不是那么烂的，只是刚好Summit争着要sponsor而已！那个地方太小了，舞台也很小，然后布置也很老土，烂毙了啦！人家元畅还是出道5年来第一次来马宣传耶！Oh my god，为什么要给人家这样的第一印象？
好啦，至于两位主角真的是好人到没得弹，话说我刚到时遇到他们也刚到要参加下午的一个活动，他们还很友善的跟我也
和四周的人笑笑、打招呼！当晚他们也显得蛮high的，虽然都已经忙了一整天。郑元畅还是一贯的很搞笑，唐禹哲我就比较陌生一点，从来没看过他演戏，可是他也很帅！两人都很帅那是真的，不过，不是'suai'!!!
为什么我要这样强调呢？就是因为昨晚的司仪叫了他们N次的“两位大suai哥”。我整个.......不知道臭骂了多少次！不要这样，人家很帅我知道，你称赞人家那么多次我也没问题，不过不要一直叫错嘛，人家是帅，不是‘suai’啊！至于她是谁？当天有到的人一定知道。
难得当DJ那么久了，那么简单的一个字都念错！我们为她默哀3分钟，阿门！
真的，马来西亚并不是只有Summit那么烂，司仪也不是都华语讲得不标准的！元畅，你千万别误会！多来这里几次你就知道了！

公主帮《冒险世界》

Look........我真的很不想叫他们（尤其小马）公主帮，不过well,既然他们就已经放那个名字了就没办法了！:(
Anywayz,二军PK赛还是在“折磨”着我的小马，他还要拍戏耶，我的妈呀！二军的EP将在7月11日正式发行啦，不过当然主打歌《冒险世界》已经在台湾热播中了！
Boy band的歌嘛，大概就是这个样子，不过《冒险世界》还蛮朗朗上口的啦，不错嘛！
重点！！！
重点中的重点当然是小马啦！虽然唱歌不是他的强项，听也很难听得出他的声音，可是仔细看MV你就会发现跳舞部分他整个就是leader了，超棒、超帅的！魔术棒舞、solo部分、倒立.......小马真的由什么都不懂变好强！

现在你明白我为什么那么迷他了吧？
总之，小马加油！！！公主帮加油！！！

到底香港小姐的水准已经变什么样子了？

不说你不知，本人超爱看选美比赛的！香港小姐更是我很小的时候就很爱看的节目，那时候外公还在，我就会和他一起看，还有爸爸、妈妈，大家都看得很过瘾！
很多我的偶像都是当时选港姐时就很喜欢的了！首选的当然就是我最爱的女演员胡杏儿啦！当时的她够可爱、直接，我喜欢！
其实到后期的我就没在看了，因为以前都是租带的，妈妈说NO就是NO！可是人人都说看不看都罢啦，水准一年比一年差！你信不信？当然N年前那些朱玲玲、郑文雅、张曼玉那些我们撇开不说，毕竟我们都还没出世，不是我们的年代的。我这里要和大家分享的是我当年真的很印象深刻的1991年的港姐哦！
当时的5强是：郭蔼明、周嘉玲、蔡少芬、樊亦敏和何婉盈。

我记得我当时是希望樊亦敏赢的，爸爸则是周嘉玲的粉丝。结果周嘉玲第二，蔡少芬季军，郭蔼明实至名归的勇夺冠军！
现在看回片断，发现哇塞，五强都超漂亮的，随便一个都可以是冠军！！！
现在，我们回到来16年之后，2007年.......

哈哈，当时新闻真的唱到这个冠军好红哦！什么“猪扒”、“牛扒”都跑出来！
我还是刚发现这个影片，才看到哇塞，她真的.......也不敢说她很丑，就是有点怪怪的，好像那里不对，cacat的酱啰！你没有听到现场的嘘声吗？
什么东西啊？？？这样也能得冠军？？？
到底香港小姐的水准跌到什么样子了？你自己看了这些影片都知道啦！

Guss Hiddink is the man!!!

The very first time I watched football matches was way back during the 1998 World Cup. I was also betting on teams with my classmates at the time. I love Guss Hiddink so much because he brought Netherlands almost into the final!
But then I hated him so so much in 2002 when he brought South Korea into the semi-final of the World Cup. I REALLY REALLY HATE HIM!!! Till now, I still can't forget how rough the koreans were and how they broke my heart by kicking out one of my favourite teams, Spain! Then then, he continued to made me hate him even more by taking Australia into the second round of the 2006 World Cup! They beat Japan! I HATED GUSS HIDDINK!!!
I have to however, admit that he is a one of a kind coach...
Okay, look, I haven't really been following the Euro 2008 until the quarter-final and bloody hell, I waited till 2.45am the other day just to watch Germany plays Portugal just to find out non of the national TV channels were playing it!!! What the hell??? Anywayz, Germany wasn't my favourite team to win the Cup. After the grouping matches, I was going to write something like 'The Orange Storm' or something like that here because like everybody else, I thought the Netherlands were going to win this one! I mean, seriously, they beat two former world champion in a row!
But nah... They lost to Russia, an unknown team, but again led by the super coach Guss Hiddink!
So I guess I have to change it to 'The Hiddink's Storm'?
Anywayz, his luck always ends at the semi-final, so let's pray that Russia wouldn't make it to the final! No, I don't hate them, I just... No no... I want a Germany-Spain final!!! I love both of them!!!
I want Germany and Spain in the final!!! Go go go!!!

Important notes to TGV and GSC

Before I start my review, I would like to write some notes to the cinemas in Malaysia, especially to TGV and GSC, which I spent most of my money at!
So dear TGV and GSC,
I always love going into the cinema earlier for the previews of some upcoming movies and I'm always left disappointted lately bacause at TGV, there are only two movies previews nowadays and GSC even worst, ONE ONLY!!! The rest are all the useless (at least to us, the viewers) commercial which some of them are really stupid!
Secondly, PLEASE LAR, STOP PLAYING THE SAME PREVIEW AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!
And yes, I'm sooooo talking about the latest Batman:The Dark Knight! I'm so sick of it! And imagine, there is only one movie preview at GSC, and it got wasted with the wah-this-one-again-ar? Batman preview? Seriously, now whenever I see that, I just turned my head away and look around the cinema or just shut my eyes and I can actually remember the lines now!!! Shit!
Really, I've heard people saying they are sick of it too in the cinema when the preview came!

Kung Fu Panda 功夫熊猫

是的，我结果实先看了广东版的，到现在都还没看英语版的！

听大家说很好笑(都是看英语的），我当然不想错过啦！嗯，我觉得还不错啦！尤其是听到陈奕迅的声音就很high了，还有何超仪，很可爱！

不过，我猜英语版的应该会更好笑吧？因为翻译过来总会有些部分不一样的！有点后悔先看了广东版的！

Get Smart

I've been waiting for so so long for this movie!!! So I went for it just the second day it went into the cinema!

It was great! Funny, but not funny in a stupid way... Erm... You know what I mean! You know I love The Rock! He is again awesome though he played the bad guy in the movie (ooops, shall I not tell you this first?). And and, there were so many funny scenes! One of them was the kissing part, I was actually screaming by my own watching the kissing part!!! I'm serious, you will understand as you watch the movie.

Maid of Honor

Well, this is a typical American romantic comedy I guess... You could already guess how is the ending is going to be. Still, the storyline attracted me to go for it. So... It wasn't too bad, in fact, quite entertaining and touching! Sometimes, things are just like that. You might have someone just right beside you and you never know he/she is the one you had already fell in love with...

Maid of Honor is just cute! And and the soundtracks are quite nice too!

Now, these are what you call MOVIES!!! Thanks but no more bloody movies for me, PLEASEEEE!!!

Notes to my 'lovely' housemates and 'sweety' landlord...

I'm sure most of you are familiar with the house I'm staying, the underwear in my house and my lovely landlord.

Now, there are a few things that happened lately that we(basically me, Ducum, I Rene and Cynco) decided to do something....
Which is...
Yes, we've wrote some HUGE notes to my DEAREST housemates and DEAREST landlord.
I see them just like Nando's chicken flavours, where we start with the mild one first.Yes, it all happened two nights ago. Ducum lost two pairs of her shoes left outside. One Converse and one Adidas. Cynco's bf also lost two pairs of his shoes, a pair of Puma sport shoe and a pair of Hush Puppies leather shoe.
So we are being very nice telling everyone to be aware of that and not to leave their expensive shoes outside.
Next, be prepared for the HOT one.Now, it has been quite a while that we've found our food and drinks in the fridge DISAPPEARRING.
Worst, the 'thief' often left some 'evidence'. For example, about months ago we had some chocolates in the fridge and someone ate them and actually LEFT THE WRAPPERS IN THE FRIDGE!!!
Then, something really interesting happened last afternoon. One of my housemates (whom I only do the 'hi-hi' & 'bye-bye' to him) was cooking instant noodles for lunch when I also went to cook some water for my green tea. Then surprisingly, I saw a bowl next to the stove (obviously stuffs that he was going to put in his noodles) with some frozen corn and two pieces of seafood tofu.
Wait a minute, SEAFOOD TOFU???
Eh? I thought only Lim Pek have seafood tofu in the fridge???
So I quickly opened the fridge and checked. Yes, two were gone...
Imagine if I actually look at him and asked...
Eh? Why do these seafood tofu look so familiar one???
I mean, what the fuck??? You are stealing my food in front of me!!! Bloody Hell!!!
NOW I REALLY BLOODY VERY EXTREMELY HATE THAT FELLAR
for stealing my seafood tofu!!!
And yes, I Rene's had also found someone had drank her orange juice.
MALI MALI HOM, WHO EVER WHO ATE OR DRANK OUR STUFFS, MAY ALL YOUR MOUTHS HAVE ULCER BY NOW!!!
And comes the EXTRA HOT one, specially made for our lovely landlord.Let me explain them one by one.
YI) For your info, I'm now seating downstairs in the lounge typing this, and I've been doing this for quite a while now. Why not do this in my comfy room with the air-con?
Because the bloody wireless is not bloody working upstairs! I suspect it has to do with the distance between the router downstairs and my lappy upstairs. Of course, my lovely landlord had long promised a second router upstairs.
Now, you understand why we stated the first line?
ER) Our rental is BLOODILY EXPENSIVE, OKAY? But most people understand why when we told them what we get. One of them is cleaning services every one in a fortnight. But except for the first few months, the cleaning aunties brought by the landlord had been coming sometimes once in three weeks or once a month. Imagine how dirty is our house which contains 12-13 people? And yes, now it is already very DIRTY!!!
SAN) Yes, the porch light isn't working anymore, and it has been like that since decades ago...
Is it going to be like the last time he fixed the toilet light as well? According to the 'victim' Ducum, she had to shower, brush teeth, pee and bangsai in the dark for more than one month.
Okay, I can assure you the porch light is more than that now.
SI) Why did we wrote the note to him in such a romantic and poetic way?
If you read my previous blog about my lovely landlord you will understand why we have to be sweetty weenny to him.
We are just doing it HIS STYLE.
(And that's why this section have to be in romantic colours...)
I think the main reason we are writing the note to him is because he has been avoiding us lately. I seriously think he is scared of me now. The last SMS I sent him was to ask him to fix the router or give me a discount on my rental. He did not reply.
Few days ago he came when I was sitting on the sofa with my lappy. He just came and quickly took something and left like I'm a ghost sitting over there staring at him.
Okay, now I really just hope that people in the house and people who own the house understand and pity us with what had happened to us lately.
They might not sound as serious as the earthquake victims in China, but... but...
Arrrrhhhh... Still, kesian us a bit lar!!!
