The Crab Attack!!!

I know, I know, the H1N1 or (A)H1N1 or whatever shit lar is getting serious and I'm really really worry about my trip to Hong Kong now! Ooooops, I forgot to tell you guys about it, didn't I? Hahaha... Ok then, we keep that a secret until later! :p
Well, for now, please put aside the H1N1 thingy, because I just had another virus here, THE CRAB ATTACK!!! :S

Okay, I'm sorry, that was just some lame lame gimmick, hehehe...
Now, the truth is, John invited me to a food tasting the other day, was kinda assignment lar, need to write about it in the coming issue of The Focus. But since there will be a different kind of writing there, and since I took some pictures with Shawn仔, I decided to write about it before I even start writing the 'official piece' for John.Can you see the one at the middle? The dirty crab is saying 'hi'!
So it was B Seafood (B女海鲜）at the Kepong Wei Sek Gai. You will be surprise, it's just a little stall which looks really old and probably not so nice to look at, with cats all over the place! BUT the crab is very famous and quite expensive compared to others, and its loyal fans include some of Malaysia's artists and DJs! Plus, Bosco Wong was here! Bosco Wong! The cute Hong Kong actor came here, this not-so-fancy looking place to have the crab! So now you know how attractive the seafood here can be, right?B女, the ladyboss at the stall! She is so cute she said she actually couldn't sleep a night before, thinking of what to cook for us!

Anywayz, thanks to the very funny, straight forward and cute ladyboss, all four of us had a wonderful meal and we were all really full that night! Here's a look at the food...The dishes at a glance... Kakaka... Feeling hungry already???
Well, except for the salted & drunken crab, we finished the rest on the table, plus another additional Japanese snails... Yummy~I LOVE SNAILS!!!This Aussie crab will cost you RM200++. So... We didn't get to eat it. :(

Fresh Satay Kam Heong Shrimp!
Nothing can beat this I tell ya, the freshest and tastiest snails I've ever had in my life!!!
The crab comes with some Man Tao, which are equally good.
I prefer the fried one, which is cripy on the outside, and soooooo soft inside...
I must first admit, I'm not quite a crab lover. Reason being, lazy. But then since the speciallity here is crab, I had to try lar, for the sake of my dear readers mah! :p The crab are reasonably bigger than what you can find in other places, and they are surely fresh! Out of the two flavours of crab we tried, I actually prefer the Coffee Crab, just because it's special! I mean, at first I was like, crab and coffee??? But then, I love the taste man! The shrimps are bloody fresh I can tell you, they are like 10 times fresher than the ones I tried at Bubba Gump! Love the shrimps! The La-La are very big and not too bad. I also really enjoyed the Japanese snails! OMG, so damn fresh!!! It was nicely cooked, just ngam ngam, the texture was like wow~ Really different! And together with the gravy... Marvelous~!
Sorry lar for making you hungry, all the seafood are already in my... Probably down to the toilet bowl already! Kakakaka...
I would say B Seafood is a must try for especially crab lovers, if you don't mind paying the price lar! I had it for free! Yay~! :p But accroding to the ladyboss a plate of the crab we had would be about RM80 plus! So you know how to calculate lar, yea?

Good Show, 张智成！

项目：张智成2009大马Live Band音乐会

时间：8pm, 正式大概是8.15pm左右

一直以来特爱R&B的我，都很欣赏张智成，认为他是陶喆之后最会唱R&B的歌手，虽然我并不是那种每张专辑都有买的那种忠实粉丝。但其实我早在他参加海螺星韵奖创作比赛时就听过他的歌声了，虽然当时唱的还不是R&B。后来到我想去看他唱现场、也可以说有能力去看时他就因为之前的一些问题，暂时离开了乐坛。幸好，他还是回来了！我也立刻买了他的《暗恋》专辑支持，也去了他的2009大马Live Band音乐会！
啊~整个是超享受的一个音乐会啊~！
音乐会的场地不算很大，大致上是坐满了人，而且很多很多本地歌手、艺人和DJ出席，其中包括了经过我们面前就整个立刻吸引到我们的目光的陈秋霞。
我用我的Shawn仔拍了200多张照片，选照片也选到老半天，还要等好几个小时上载.......终于都搞定了~！
我们来看图说故事吧！耶~我最喜欢特别设计过的演唱会票了！
感谢传盈特地陪我去看这场超棒的音乐会啦~！还是那个peace，还真的是始终如一........张智成的opening打扮得很young，以他的身高，的确很ok啊~！看不出来他30多！:pZchen当晚跳了好几支舞，都很骚~！就如报章上说的，他没有露点啦，脱掉黄色外套也还是有t-shirt！单纯觉得拍得很不错的一张照片~！嘻嘻！光良出现的几分钟，是当晚的其中一大高潮哦！真的是亲下去的耶，我整个都尖叫到不行了~！我只能说张智成越老越骚~！当然，也是越老越帅！帅~！帅~！帅~！这个表情......大概又是在飙R&B的那种oh~oh~oh~了~！哎呀，不小心没拍到他的手了！我最喜欢他这一身打扮了，整个超帅的~！很漂亮的一张照片是不是？我的技术还不赖嘛！嘻嘻！希望在天堂的阿桑能看到和听到智成在唱歌给她听........还是忍不住落泪了.......
令现场的大家都很感动的一幕.......又要夸自己一下了，整个角度都抓得好好哦！哈哈~！当然，要多谢Shawn仔啦！:)这张也很好看是吧？但张智成穿那件黑衣拍起照来比较难啦，因为都很暗。Thanks~Thanks~Thanks~Thanks Monica~！最后大家都站起来了！好high！音乐会后指定动作，和海报拍合照！啊，对了，另外一位朋友是佩珊妹啦~！不是珊宝妹哦！
整个音乐会都蛮enjoy的！除了刚开始不久进错key，走音了一下下以外，张智成的现场演唱都很棒！现场听他的R&B转音整个超厉害的，我真的是佩服到~五体投地！假音也唱得很棒，毫无破绽！果然是我心目中最会唱的歌手之一！跳舞方面虽然不是什么高难度的，但胜在都很骚、很sexy，跟dancers的互动很有效果，引起尖叫连连！很多时候都是快歌令到大家都大跳起来，现场超high的~！个人最喜欢第二次“安哥”之后的部份，当时现场已经陷入party的气氛了，大家都站起来大跳舞了。而且他就唱了Monica、梦伴等经典歌曲！重点，现场的音响完全没有问题，整个就很棒啊！
很难的的是，张智成这次强调要少说话、多唱歌。但他一旦说话都是一些蛮搞笑的，说什么家人都是胖的啦、什么家人很多是因为“很会生”、或者问大家头发有没有乱......还要特地用联邦腔华语说话......音乐会我认为有两个很重要的“点”。第一：光良的突然现身。虽然不是上来唱歌，但还是吓到了智成本人和大家。不过，传盈就整个好high啊！整个比看到张智成更high！其实我们默默的在期待着他的表妹梁静茹出现，但没发生.......第二：纪念阿桑的部份。张智成演唱很想你和叶子，后面播着阿桑的照片和影片。唱罢，他转过头去看阿桑的照片就忍不住开始哭了，然后再邀请阿桑的姐姐上台，两人拥抱痛苦......那一幕大概也搞到很多人哭了。虽然我没有啦，但的确是很感人的一幕。难得在自己重回歌坛的音乐会上也不忘怀念一下好朋友，阿桑有这样一个朋友应该感到很欣慰。
接下来就要在台湾发片的智成，加油啦~！有实力的人一定能获得肯定的！！！
P/S：张智成真的有变帅哦~！哦，应该是说帅呆了！:)

I love Adrien Brody~!!!

Another long break from the cinema, and I'm finally back!

The Brothers Bloom
Just found out about this movie when I randomly browse through TGV's website and saw 'Adrien Brody' there in the list of actors! And so I went for it. Yup, the sexy Adrien Brody is one of my favourite actors, like my fourth or fifth favourite actor in Hollywood! Love him~! Well to tell you the truth I fell in love with Adrien Brody before watching any of his movies, just like how I started to like Matt Damon. Hehe... He kinda caught my attention at the Oscar 2002 when he became the youngest actor ever to win the Best Actor award...

Oh yeah... I mean look at how sexy the kiss was? Until today I still wish I was Halle Berry!!! And the speech was like one of the most unforgettable Oscar speeches okay? Of course I watched The Pianist, which was a quite boring but beautiful movie and Adrien himself was freaking brilliant!!!
Hahaha... Alright, back to The Brothers Bloom! It's kinda Ocean's Eleven and The Italian Job story, the Brothers Bloom are two famous con-men who are damn smart. Well the elder bro Stephen (Mark Ruffalo) is the one who is real good in planning, in which he always tricked his own brother Bloom (Adrien Brody) into his plan without him knowing. So Bloom is actually a more kind-hearted and innocent one. The whole movie is very fun to watch, it's really funny, really tricky you might not know which ones are in the plan, which ones aren't. Honestly I still have some question marks in my head now, but it doesn't matter lar, as long as I understand the ending, which was quite touching. Pay attention to the music too, they are so damn cool!
Adrien and Mark suits their characters respectively. OMG, I cannot stand Adrien Brody in those old-fashioned suits! I still remember how I wished I could carry the poster at one of the boutiques in KLCC where he was the spokesperson back then! He always looks gorgeous in suits! I think Rachel Wiesz was fantastic and funny too! And Rinko Kikuchi(yes, the girl who stripped in Babel)! Her role was so 'ke le fe' but she just made it so important! I tell you, the movie wouldn't be so interesting without her! She's great!
I definitely think this is the kinda artsy yet funny movie worth a watch!

17 Again
Everyone has been telling me how funny and how I should watch 17 Again and I Love You Man lately! But it was too late to watch the latter while 17 Again is definitely still showing 'hotly' in cinemas! I couldn't even get ticket a day before!
Well, yes the movie is indeed VERY FUNNY! I think I probably laughed the whole while watching the movie!
I guess you already know the story, so I'll skipped that. I personally think the ending could be better. I thought it will come to the end where the kids know how nice their father is and comes to a touching happy family ending. But then it didn't happen, which was very surprising. But then I thought, maybe my kinda ending is too out-dated. Or maybe the movie is just taylor-made for Zac Efron, so nobody cares about the ending when the character went back to Matthew Perry! Poor Matthew Perry... But I love you more than Zac, okay?
Yea, I'm not a fan of Zac Efron. I mean, I hate High School Musical (I just typed it as 'Musical High School')! The moment I saw the preview in cinema, my hair stood up! So damn cheesy I couldn't stand it! And gosh, I've seen the preview like thousands times! And Zac is like a plastic boy to me... But I had to say I think he did quite well in this one, quite natural playing a father of two kids lar! And yes he is cute, but nah... I'll leave the pretty boy to those young girls.
Anywayz, another nice comedy there! :)

Rachel Getting Married
Watched Rachel Getting Married few weeks back just because of Anne Hathaway. She was nominated for the Oscar, so I got curious.
Well to me, Rachel Getting Married is more like a documentary. It's a documentary about a girl who had just came out of rehab to attend her sister's wedding, a mixed-race wedding! Part of the movie was shot hand held I can see, so the whole thing really looks more like a home video. The story was pretty normal lar, yet quite touching. It's more like a family kinda movie. But some part of it was quite boring actually. It's like an unedited home video, so some part of the movie are just too draggy.
Anne was pretty good lar, but yea not enough to beat Kate Winslet yet. She's been pretty good since Brokeback Mountain, I can see she is trying to jump out of the 'princess' character. I'm sure she'll be better! :)

Goodbye Miss Soo, Hello Shawn~! :p

So Meng Han had decided to go on holiday-working in New Zealand (jealous-ing...Arrrrrhhhh... I also wanna go!) and is leaving middle of the month. So Karen and I gave her a treat at Bubba Gump last night, just a simple little farewell dinner.
BUT it was my very first visit to the fancy-looking restaurant. Haha... No thanks to Meng Han lar! I definitely love the way they design and decorate the restaurant. I didn't go around the whole restaurant, but there were already a few things that I really like!Taken from where we sat...

My favourite part of the entire restaurant... The washing basin and water pipes! So cool, right?

Ah... My favourite line of all! 'Born free... now I'm expensive. Hehe...
Even the newspaper used as base for the food are specially printed ones!
As for the dinner, here are what we had...Cajun Shrimp as starter!

Bourbon Street Baramundi with shrimp and mashed potato.
Dessert of the night... Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae.
I know, I know, they look sooooo yummy, right? Especially the dessert! Super delicious man, although yea... Bloody fattening lar! That Miss Soo lar, she was the one who wanted a dessert! You lar, Soo Meng Han! Now I grow fatter liao!
Okay, now, I might have a different opinion on the food there. I personally don't fancy those deep fried ones cos you can get them at any other places, even at any economic rice stall. Plus, when seafood are deep fried, it normally means they aren't fresh. But I would say I love the Cajun Shrimp A LOT! Shrimps were really fresh, the hot & spicy sauce was fantastic, and the garlic bread was superb (wow~when did I learn all these words?)! The Bourbon Street Baramundi was also really good! The shrimp and fish were really fresh and the mashed potato was really nice too! Meng Han actually said the mashed potato was better than the one she had at Chili's!
Of course we had a really noisy night at Bubba Gump. You know lar, with Meng Han, who got real excited about those gossips... Hahahaha... No lar, it was also because we haven't seen each other for a while lar...Will definitely miss you lar, dearest Meng Han!

I still need some time to play with my Shawn仔, but I'm already very happy with the pictures taken at Bubba Gump, especially the food! They look a bit different here lar since I had to make them into smaller sizes.
