Yummy Chicken Hor Fun @ Restoran Prosperity Bowl, SS2

We were actually going to check out a restaurant nearby one fine Saturday when we went past this particular restaurant which was already full house. We thought, something must be really good when the restaurant is that packed, right? So we changed our mind and tried this instead!
Turned out, this Prosperity Bowl Restaurant was voted Best Chicken Rice by voters last year! Hey, how come we didn't know about you sooner??? So anyway, the restaurant is, although a little humid, was clean with simple plus old school decor. Their one-pager menu has dry or soup Hor Fun, chicken rice and whole load of other side dishes for you to choose from.
Since we were more up for some Hor Fun, we've decided to keep the chicken rice to our next trip. But we ordered quite some items to try!
Bean Sprout (small), RM3.
Sotong Pork Ball (small), RM4.
2 Portion Village Chicken, RM14.
I personally love the bean sprouts, which were cooked quite perfectly, with its crunchiness remains and the garlic oil all over, the platter screams 'must-try', that's for sure. And for RM3, it is much cheaper than many of the same dish in Klang Valley! The Sotong Pork Balls were really good too, but that's not homemade or anything so you can get it elsewhere too. Again, RM4 for 6 pieces, it's still very reasonable compared to others! We also tried their signature 'Village Chicken' which was smooth, tender and really yummy, especially with the mixed gravy that came with it!
Chicken Hor Fun, RM6.50, Deardo had his with extra noodle with additional RM0.50.
Now, to our Chicken Hor Fun. Honestly, it looks pretty plain but as you savour further, it's actually quite a satisfying, light bowl of noodles. Unlike most other Chicken Hor Fun you know, this one comes with big pieces of chicken, pork slices and even fish balls. Yup, it came like that in the menu, we didn't ask to top up anything! So it was quite interesting and pretty much worth the price too! Try all these with their chicken rice chili sauce and you will be really happy!
Me and Deardo, with me looking really swollen... :S
Together with a Chinese Tea and a Herbal Tea, the total bill came up to RM37.10 (no extra charges) and we thought it was quite worth the visit! Definitely going back, especially to try the award-winning chicken rice! :)
