I'm a BIG BREAKFAST PERSON. I love having breakfast, and I love them to be nice savoury stuff most of the time. One of my all-time favourite breakfast gotta be Chinese economic fried bihun with curry gravy, topped with a fried egg or luncheon meat. Ooooo... Typing this is already making me hungry.
Unfortunately there isn't such thing near my office and in fact for a few weeks I was struggling to find cheap and nice breakfast until I found this particular Nasi Lemak stall. The kakak (right) is often seen managing the stall with her daughter. |
Best of all, you will be greeted by the overly excited and cheerful kakak who often just make me laugh just by the way she talks to me! Trust me, go and give her a try! :p
It's like a mini buffet! |
Fried Bihun, Sambal Sotong and Fried Egg, only RM3! |
If you are not a big eater, there are a selection of kuih, from colourful Nyonya kuih to doughnuts, popiah and curry puff. So far I've only tried the curry puff, Sambal Ball and Popiah and I must say they are all equally good, especially the Sambal Balls! The flour based snack is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside while the generous amount of Sambal filling made the Sambal Ball a must try to those who love everything spicy! All kuihs are sold at only RM0.40 per piece! That means you can have three curry puff for breakfast at only RM1.20! That's pretty cool isn't it?
