Eating Trip in Seremban, Round 2!

So it was a public holiday so Deardo and I decided to once again, visit Seremban (a state that was not on public holiday) to have my favourite Curry Laksa while also try out some other famous food if possible. If you remember, we just went there about a month ago and had great fun food-hunting. We figured it's just about an hour drive away so it should be a perfect default place to go whenever we want a short getaway from the city!

Seremban Baked Crab @ Seremban Seafood Village
After my favourite Restoran Asia's Curry Laksa, we finally gave the famous Seremban Baked Crab a try. Despite a lot of bad reviews on both food and service, we decided to still give Seremban Seafood Village a go and I must say it was well worth it. :)
1kg of Seremban Baked Crab, RM65.
The dipping sauce that I'm so in luuuurve with.
The Baked Crab comes with a sweet gravy which may not be my favourite gravy but was not as bad as what I read from some other blogs. The crab itself was very fresh and sweet, with quite a lot of meat to offer too - definitely a thumb-up! I especially love the chili dipping sauce that tasted a little spicy and sour yet has a creamy kick in it, something very unique and delicious!
Stir-fry Choy Dam.
Salted Egg Mantis Prawns.
We also ordered a vegetable dish and a Salted Egg Mantis Prawns which were not fantastic. But really, at RM20 for both dishes, they were steals!
Us obviously enjoying our crabs a lot!
With one rice and Chinese tea in a pot for two, the bill came up to RM92.30. Needless to say, it was a satisfying crab lunch with a very reasonable price compared to what we get back in KL. I wouldn't say their service is great but if you are a table of all girls you'll probably get better service from the guy there. Just telling the truth! :p

Siew Pow @ Empayar Seremban Siew Pow
Fortunately this time around we managed to pick up some Siew Pow on the way back for tea break and also for my colleagues back in the office. Because we were too lazy to go online to find another place just to buy Siew Pow, we went straight to Empayar Seremben Siew Pow/Wah Sifu Siew Pow, which is located by the highway on the way back to KL.
Fresh from the oven yo~!
I've previously visited this place with Karen and their seafood were not too bad. But this time it was for their famous Siew Pow which we had to wait for 20 minutes for them to come out with a new batch of Siew Pow! We were more than happy to wait since that would means our Siew Pow would be the freshest of the freshest ones! :p
My favourite Char Siew So.
Tea time with some Seremban Siew Pow and homemade cold brew coffee!
Most items are sold at RM1.40 so I took some Siew Pow and a Char Siew So (Char Siew Pie) to try. When we arrived home they were all still warm! To my surprise, the Char Siew So was super duper awesome! Gravy was flavourful and the pork were so juicy and tender! Definitely a class above! The Siew Pow on the other hand was awesome in its own way too - thin pastry, crispy and slightly flaky and generous delicious filling gives the Siew Pow every reason to be famous!
Really, the Siew Pow and Char Siew So are a must try the next time you travel to Seremban!
